Apply now for August 2019 LeAP workshops

Register now for the UW-Madison Teaching Academy’s Learning Environment and Pedagogics (LEaP) workshops. The 2-day workshops are designed to introduce the basics of teaching and learning. Participants will be introduced to evidence-based, high-impacte practices including active learning ideas, syllabus and assignment design, assessment techniques, and information about what students really want from their instructors. Participants will also gain insight on how learning works, and how best to engage students.

There are two LEaP workshops: one designed for faculty and instructors (I-LEaP), the other designed for teaching assistants and graduate students interested in learning about teaching (TA-LEaP).
