The 2019 OPID Spring Conference: The Joys of Teaching & Learning: Intersecting Identities and Pedagogies will be held on Thursday, April 11 to Friday, April 12, 2019 at the Memorial Union in Madison, preceded by a pre-conference workshop on high-impact practices on Wednesday, April 10. The annual two-day spring conference will feature some of the extraordinary teaching and learning taking place in face-to-face, virtual and blended classrooms throughout the University of Wisconsin System. We invite faculty and instructional academic staff from all disciplines to share their experiences with teaching and learning, particularly in equity-minded, high-impact practices.
Please visit the conference website for additional information about the submission process, topics of particular interest, presentation formats and the online proposal form. Proposals are due Monday, December 3, 2018. Proposal notifications will be sent in mid-January 2019. Accepted participants are expected to register for the conference as confirmation that they will present.
We look forward to a vibrant gathering where participants leave reinvigorated to share their joys of teaching & learning with our students.
