2026 Teaching and Learning Symposium – registration now open

UW–Madison faculty, staff, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows are invited to participate in lively discussion exploring innovative educational practices and technologies. The 2026 Teaching and Learning Symposium will highlight the exciting work happening on campus as well as the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.

This year’s event features:

  • Keynote speaker Sarah Rose Cavanagh, who will present research and food for thought about creating learning environments of compassionate challenge, based on her most recent book, “Mind Over Monsters.”
  • A special track of sessions that is part of the Wisconsin Exchange, UW–Madison’s initiative cultivating dialogue across diverse perspectives.
  • Engaging breakout sessions, a networking lunch, and a poster session highlighting insights from members of the campus teaching and learning community.
