McNair Scholars Program

The Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program supports eligible undergraduates in acquiring the knowledge, skills and capacities necessary to successfully navigate the rigors of Ph.D. studies through immersion in research and a variety of scholarly activities. Each year, highly qualified students are selected from a pool of eligible applicants. The goal  is to increase the attainment of Ph.D. degrees by students from underrepresented segments of society.

Network for Development & Growth of Native Solidarity at UW–Madison (NDGNS UW)

The Network for Development & Growth of Native Solidarity at UW–Madison offers all undergraduate students an opportunity to learn about Indigenous voices and experiences, with a focus on building community and relationships. The community helps students thrive and provides a variety of academic, community and cultural events throughout the year. Additionally, the community offers students a framework to participate in many high-impact programs across campus. Students who are part of the network can graduate with a breadth of valuable experiences that prepare them for careers in all fields, with a particular emphasis on developing skills and knowledge to work in high-demand professions within Tribal communities.
